Built from our own family wedding on the farm, Bert’s Barrow is now home to relaxed Yorkshire barn weddings full of wildflowers, laughter and unforgettable celebrations.
About Bert’s Barrow
Charlotte and Jason welcome you to Bert’s Barrow, their family-run wedding venue set on the Yorkshire farm they’ve called home for over 12 years. It all began in 2016 when they hosted Jason’s daughter Leigh’s wedding here, transforming the farm into a beautiful place to celebrate with family and friends. What started as one very special day soon grew into something much bigger.
Today, Bert’s Barrow is a relaxed countryside barn wedding venue where couples can create a day that truly reflects them, surrounded by fields, wildflowers and the warm welcome of a family-run venue.
Three beautiful barns provide space to seat up to 180 guests throughout the day, with room for up to 500 guests to celebrate into the evening. Along with the courtyard and paddock, there is plenty of space for drinks, photographs and relaxed countryside moments throughout your wedding day.
We are fully licensed for weddings, so you can choose to hold your ceremony right here at Bert’s Barrow, either inside one of our characterful barns or outside in the courtyard or paddock, weather permitting.
Our fully stocked bar is run by Liquid Catering, who can also create a feast to suit your style of celebration — whether that’s relaxed BBQs, grazing boards, street food or a traditional three-course wedding breakfast.
