Ellie & Jordan met at a wedding… Ellie was a bridesmaid and Jordan a groomsman. On Saturday, they came full circle as they tied the knot (quite literally) and hosted the most spectacularly fun wedding, which any guest would tell you, it was absolutely brilliant!
There were some absolutely ICONIC guests at this wedding; We all had so much fun getting to know everyone and capturing the celebrations in the sunshine!
With Ellie being Scottish, we sang ‘500 miles’ together in the ceremony, were treated to the age-old Celtic traditions of a hand-tying ceremony (where the phrase tying the knot comes from), a piper piping them in, and of course a roaring ceilidh that had the kilts swinging! Leon Marshall sang acoustic with this guitar for the reception, and all the guests were dancing and having fun!
Liquidcatering created an epic BBQ platter for the wedding breakfast in the corn store.
A tractor ride at golden hour up into the fields was iconic. The barns looked amazing, filled with colour, and the outdoor ceremony was beautiful.
E & J embraced their shared love of vegetables by naming every table after one. The top table featured a bedazzled broccoli, which later became the broccoli bouquet toss. I love these two for their sense of fun. They’re the loveliest people, so full of joy and genuine love for each other.
